Reno Valley is proud to announce that we have been granted a Resist chapter at our school. The purpose of the Resist program is to educate students about the dangers of tobacco and combat tobacco use in the schools. The students in the program will spend time researching tobacco use and sharing their findings with students at Reno Valley, SHE, and NES, with the ultimate goal of decreasing tobacco use in our district. We are proud of this group for stepping up to the challenge and look forward to seeing them in action.

This week STUCO has been participating in Red Ribbon Week and giving out daily prizes to students and staff. Today during lunch students were given the opportunity to pledge to stay drug free! STUCO made a Red Ribbon with all the paw print signatures!

Beginning this week, USD 309 Nickerson / South Hutchinson will begin the Test-To-Learn protocol. Students who have been identified as a close-contact to a positive COVID case, and whose parents have completed the Consent Waiver will be allowed to stay in school if they submit to testing each day and remain masked while in school.
